Gallery
The club exists for seven days each April, and then the marquees come down. What is left is the photography — the kitchens, the rooms, the people and the evenings, gathered here in five collections.
Five collections
Everything is sorted the way a member would actually look for it: what you ate, where you stood, who looked after you, and how the night ended.
Two hundred and forty photographs across nineteen seasons, from the first ranch-house years to last April. Every frame is captioned with its subject so nothing arrives unexplained.
Food & beverage
Breakfast at first light through to the bakehouse case at midnight. Fourteen frames from the collection — carving stations, the raw bar, the pit, the pizza oven, and the cocktail the club is named for.
Shot across several seasons and several kitchens, which is why the crops vary. The full collection runs to sixty-eight photographs.
The property & spaces
From the valet stand at the front door to the view of the Greens from the Eagle's Nest — twelve rooms and terraces, in roughly the order you would walk them.
Twenty-five named destinations sit on just under an acre. The decks, the al fresco patio and the sculpture garden are the newest and the least photographed — see the note at the foot of this page.
Members, guests & service
More than a hundred team members work the seven days. The best photographs from nineteen seasons are almost always of them — the valet stand, the shuttle, the concierge desk, and the shoulder massage nobody expects.
Members and guests appear here with permission. Portraits of the guest chefs and the barbers are being commissioned this season.
Club Magnolia 19 evenings
Club Magnolia 19 is the evening half of the week — the Par-Tee Stage, the cigar terrace, the bagpipers who close the night, and the Grand Marquee lit above the club.
Ten frames from the evening collection. Low light, long lenses, and the only photographs on the property where the brass actually glows.
A note on the photography
Every photograph in the gallery will be regraded to a single look before launch — one warm, low-contrast pass so that nineteen seasons shot on nineteen different cameras read as one club rather than nineteen websites. Captions stay factual; nothing is restaged.
New photography is being commissioned for the spaces that have never been properly covered:
Frame counts shown above are from the current catalogue and will move as the new commission is delivered.
